Hotel Ristorante Meandro

Amazing, amazing and amazing! Our experience from start to finish was wonderful. All staff hotel and restaurant are excellent, hospitality on highest level. Friendliness and quality of service above and beyond. Hotel is accessible for wheelchair users, bathroom got stool’s. Super clean. Parking available free of Cha I believe View is breathtaking and restaurant served us best fresh food and great wine. Breakfast was delicious to with local Hotel is also dog friendly We will be back I’m highly recommending to anyone who love real Italian experience.

Nice view and location, walking distance from Gargnano center with beautiful promenade. Friendly staff around and good options at breakfast (not only sweet but also eggs, cheese etc.) In some places you can see that hotel needs renovation, especially bathrooms. Although if you treat it as a base for further travelling around the lake its really a good choice. Unfortunately at one day cleaning ladies did not locked our room after cleaning and we discovered it after coming back from all day trip. So basically doors to our room were available and opened all day. Nothing was stolen but still this situation should not happen and was highly uncomfortable. If I did not paid for the stay in advance before I would really consider to change the hotel. A pity that even informing 2 people from reception desk about it nothing was done to reimbuirse this situation even with proposing to not charge us for city tax or something similar to improve the bad impression.

Lovely place , the rooms were perfect , overlooking Lake Garda offering beautiful views. There is a roof terrace offering panoramic scenery . Breakfast was fabulous, lots of choice to suit all tastes. The staff were very friendly and helpful . Nothing was too much trouble . Excellent facilities. Good location for local buses and parking also available on site . We had such a lovely time

I have been spending around a week in the hotel and i have mixed feelings about it, especially in this year (2020).. The room itself was very big but due to the furniture and the way they have been placed was not the most comfortable one. Also one can see that the years have passed by and at least the room I stayed needs a drastic renovation. Electricity plugs have been in very uncomfortable places and very few.. But i must admit that the cleaning service was really good and thorough. The changed our sheets every second day and towels if you want on daily basis. Pool was big and clean but also old and indoors. This pandemic year, breakfast was still served on buffet and when we asked if there is the alternative to order it on the table the said no but at least the hotel was flexible enough to refund us some money back as we were not joining breakfast. Dinner was very good and compared to the harbour prices reasonably priced. Highlight of the hotel is the magnificent view from balcony, but unfortunately the table and chairs on them were adequate to enjoy it (two rusty chairs and a mini table). Last but not least, unfortunately the noise from the street can become during the night a bit of a problem with the motorbikes passing by. At sum I think a positive experience but if the hotel takes care of some things can become an excellent choice.

Good parking, few minutes of walking distance to the lake and center of the town. Beautiful rooms with lake views and if you will not close the balcony door you will sleep with sound of lake swell), rich breakfasts (high quality ingredients and tasty food), and unforgettable dinners for very reasonable price for that region at the restaurant terrace with evening lake view. Chef in the restaurant is genius: try something unusual for best impressions. Service is great, staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also a garden and warm swimming pool (under the roof).
